Before the Earth, it was Cybertron.

The Transformers series have always been seen set on Earth, in terms of the animated series and even the cinematic scene. But, did you know? That before the Autobots and Decepticons brought their battles to Earth; another planet was the battlegrounds for their war?

Yes, you’re right if you guessed the Planet Cybertron. If you didn’t, congratulations, you just learned something new about the Transformers Universe. So how does this tie in to what I’m about to say today? Simple, the recently published Transformers game series of course!

Transformers: War for Cybertron, is a third-person shooter video game, set on the Planet Cybertron prior to the Tranformers’ arrival on Earth.

Play through different missions and unravel the storyline with both the Deception Campaign as well as the Autobot campaign with your favourite characters such as Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee and even Starscream!

And if you’re tired of seeing earthly vehicle modes from the animated and cinematic series, well you’ll be in for a treat as in this game; you’ll be playing them in their Cybertronian forms, as well as their Cybetronian vehicle modes!

The game promises to have intense action, as well as some good old first-person shooting elements with various scope weapons and also a little bit of strategic planning when engaging your enemies as you clear the missions. It’s not all just shooting and killing alright, some brain stimulation is needed to give you guys a complete gaming experience.
