According to businessinsider, they show evidence on why games make people 'Smarter, Better, Faster'. The study was done by Dr. Daphne Bavelier who is a Professor and cognitive neuroscientist at the University of Geneva. During her talk in the video clip which was 18 minutes long, she described that those who play action games (in moderation) react faster and can focus better. The research has fascinating implications for how we can improve and train our brains, learn, and rehabilitate people.

The research also shows that gaming in moderation does improve on our eyesight

Researchers also try to confuse the audience by adding conflict. For example, the word "green" is in yellow. Research shows that gamers tend to resolve and solve this conflict faster.

Last but not least, Dr. Bavelier tested to see how well people can track objects. She placed blue circles among seas of yellow ones and asked her audience tracked the blue ones. The result? A typical young adult can track 3 to 4 however a gamer can track and monitor 6 or 7 objects. Talk about efficiency eh?
